Give each room a size and a floor. Imposed loads come straight from IS 875 Part 2 by occupancy, so the load path stays honest from here on.

Pick the grid bays a room sits in (X 1,2,3… and Y A,B,C…) and it is placed exactly between those columns — walls land on beams and nothing spills outside the buildable area. Leave the bays blank and the room is only area-checked, drawn packed inside the footprint.
