10 · Reinforcement

Fix one uniform bar detail for slabs, beams and columns so the site sees a repeatable cage, then read the grid-wise schedule. Every member is still checked against IS 456, so anything short of steel is flagged.

Uniform reinforcement you provide

Switch a block on to impose your own bars; leave it off and the engine designs each member itself (IS 456 Cl. 26.5)

The schedule is a design aid, not a bar bending schedule: laps, curtailment points, anchorage into columns and ductile detailing to IS 13920 must be added by the detailer. Top bars are shown continuous over the supports and bottom bars continuous through the span, which is the usual arrangement for a small residential frame.
